The Ministry of Tourism and the Israel Lands Authority (ILA) have announced the publication of a tender to lease three plots for hotel and commercial purposes in the Ir Yamim neighborhood of Ashkelon.

The Ministry of Tourism’s policy is to expand the supply of accommodations in Israel in order to increase competition and thereby lower prices. The ministry views the city of Ashkelon as an attractive destination for visitors, with significant tourism potential. Ashkelon is one of the oldest cities in Israel, just 40 minutes’ drive from the center of the country.
