For its “Top Hotels in the Middle East: Readers’ Choice Awards 2018”, Conde Nast Traveler listed five Israeli hotels in its Top 15 list. The Norman Tel Aviv came in at #1, with Jerusalem’s King David coming in at #2. The Waldorf Astoria in Jerusalem was listed at #8, the David Citadel at #9 and the Mamilla at #11. Conde Nast Traveler’s review of the Norman: “The 50 individually designed rooms at this boutique hotel in two historic townhouses within the White City (a Tel Aviv neighborhood known for its collection of Bauhaus buildings as well as art galleries and designer boutiques) have a fragrant citrus garden between them. There’s a rooftop infinity pool, a 1940s-style Library Bar, a formal French-Mediterranean brasserie, and an excellent Izakaya-style Japanese restaurant.”
