The Mt. Hermon ski site in Israel’s north is proud to announce that as part of the massive investment and development of the site, and in anticipation of the opening of the 2020 winter season, the newly installed cable car will start operating.

Winter 2019 marked a peak winter in terms of snowfall and the number of ski days at the site and this year could be even better.

At the end of March, extensive work will begin on the site. The new cable car has a large passenger capacity, about 2400 people an hour compared to the old cable car which was capable of carrying only about 700 people an hour. This is a significant upgrade to the site in terms of technology, travel time and shortening the queues for the cable car.

The new cable car can transport children, infants and people with disabilities in almost any weather.
