The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Herzliya, Israel has won Israel’s Best Hotel Spa 2019 at the World Spa Awards.

At an impressive event of the 2019 World Spa Awards ceremony held recently at ARMANI hotel Dubai, approximately 210 spas from 60 countries competed in 39 different categories, including the World’s Best Spa Destination, World’s Best Airline Lounge Spa, World’s Best Casino Hotel Spa, World’s Best Desert Spa, World’s Best Detox program, World’s Best Eco Spa, etc. for a variety of awards and titles.

The selection process is carried out by senior tourism industry executives, lifestyle journalists, public opinion leaders and the general public, with the greatest weight being given to reviews by the general public and the audience pointing to their favorite spa sites.

From Israel, four representatives were competing, including the Isrotel Carmel Forest Spa, Intercontinental David Tel Aviv Spa, David Citadel Hotel Spa as well as the winner, the Ritz-Carlton Spa, which has been the fourth consecutive winner since 2016.

The Ritz-Carlton Herzliya stood proudly alongside other winners at the ceremony such as: Aman Spa in Tokyo, Haran Heritage Spa at the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, Clinic La Prairie in Switzerland, and the Carol Joy Spa in Fairmont Monte Carlo.

The World Spa Awards joins another impressive achievement of which the Ritz-Carlton Hotel boasts. It is one of the top five MARRIOTT International Spa resorts in terms of profitability, revenue growth and quality of service. The Ritz-Carlton Herzliya Spa is ranked fifth among the top 61 of the world’s top spa resorts, including: The Ritz-Carlton Budapest Spa, The Ritz-Carlton Berlin Spa, The Ritz-Carlton Barcelona Spa, The Ritz-Carlton Moscow Spa among others.

The hotel has shown marked revenue growth of about 20% compared to 2018 in turnover and profitability, and about a significant increase in service quality.
