The ‘Magdala’ tourist center announced that it was recognized by TripAdvisor as a leading attraction in the Middle East and won its prestigious award for 2022 – Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best in 17th place out of 25 in the region. Magdala entered the list among the regional favorites, when among the sites chosen were the Burj Khalifa building from Dubai (in #2 place), the city of Petra in Jordan (in #3 place), the Egyptian Valley of the Kings (in #8 place). Magdala was also chosen in the list as the second-best attraction in Israel after the Old City in Jerusalem (at #4).
