The world’s most influential travel and tourism event, World Travel Market London, was inaugurated yesterday (November 5th, 2024), the place where ministers meet and global travel teams come to build their networks.

The Israeli booth at the event was opened with the attendance of Israel’s tourism minister, Haim Katz, in an honorary event of cutting the ribbon.

Each year, over 43,000 attendees come to World Travel Market London to network and negotiate with exhibitors and fellow participants. Visitors can choose from various badge types based on their industry or reasons for attending, each offering unique benefits outlined below.

This year, more than 4,047 exhibitors at the WTM and more than 74 are new exhibitors.

The Israeli booth this year went with a theme of “Discover Israel: a land of fascinating contrasts, with ancient history, impressive landscapes and a vibrant culture”, as Israel’s Ministry of Tourism is responsible for planning, development and marketing policies in the tourism industry, with the aim of increasing domestic and inbound tourism.
