David Fattal, Founder and CEO of Fattal Group, won the prestigious Grand Prix Award, which is the highest honor in the hospitality sector in Europe. The award was presented to Fattal by the French Minister of Tourism, Marina Ferrari, and the President of MKG Consulting, Mr. Vangelis Panagiotis, as part of the Hospitality Awards 2024 ceremony held at the InterContinental Hotel in Paris.
At the distinguished ceremony, which was attended by hundreds of leading businesspeople in the global hotel sector, Ferrari and Panagiotis noted Fattal’s significant achievements, his contribution and influence on the European tourism and hotel industry, along with their impressions of the impressive development momentum of the Fattal hotel chain.
Following receiving the award, Fattal shared an emotional letter to the company’s employees: “Two decades ago, we began our journey with only two hotels in Israel. Today, with immense pride, we own and manage a chain of over 300 hotels in Israel and across Europe. This achievement is a direct result of our vision, your hard work and the extraordinary abilities of each and every one of you”.
Fattal emphasized that “this award is not only personal recognition of me, but clear proof of the success of the Fattal and Leonardo Hotels chain worldwide, and especially recognition of the investment, dedication and professionalism of each and every one of our employees”, and wished to thank the employees, “we are a leading brand throughout Europe, and our hotel brands are proudly displayed in Israel, Germany, the United Kingdom and Ireland, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Austria, the Mediterranean Basin, and many other countries throughout Europe, and our hands are still outstretched. I thank you and wish all of us continued success, vision, flight, and that we will continue to proudly lead the Fattal and Leonardo Hotels chain in Israel and around the world”.
