The Fattal Hotel Chain, one of Israel’s leading hospitality groups, has announced a significant expansion of its presence in Jerusalem with the grand opening of the Nucha Boutique Hotel. This upscale, adults-only property is the latest addition to the exclusive Fattal Colors collection and represents an investment of approximately 40 million USD.

The Nucha offers a unique and intimate experience in the heart of Israel’s capital, blending rich history, vibrant culture, and a lively urban atmosphere. Located on Ben Sira Street near Independence Park, the hotel provides easy access to key attractions like the Ben Yehuda pedestrian mall, Zion Square, Mamilla Avenue, the Old City, and the bustling Machane Yehuda Market.

An Homage to a Life of Elegance

The hotel’s design and philosophy are inspired by “Nucha”, the iconic matriarch of the Gabso family, who are the developers behind the project. Nucha, a native of colonial Tripoli, perfectly embodied a blend of Eastern and Western cultures. The hotel seeks to capture her spirit by harmonizing the vibrant, sensory-rich colors of North Africa with the classic, refined elegance of Italian and European design. This unique fusion creates a new hospitality experience that seamlessly bridges the ancient charm of Jerusalem’s stone alleys with the dynamic pulse of the modern city.

Designed by Feigin Architects and with interior design by London-based ARA, the Nucha Boutique Hotel features 86 meticulously crafted rooms, including a luxurious suite, that blend traditional Jerusalemite architecture with clean, contemporary design.

Guests can enjoy a range of premium amenities, including a professional fitness center, a stylish lobby, a treatment room, and a chef-driven restaurant. The hotel also offers exclusive guided tours to nearby sites such as the Museum of Tolerance, Machane Yehuda Market, and the Old City, allowing visitors to truly immerse themselves in the city’s story.

The Nucha Rooftop: A Panoramic Oasis

One of the hotel’s most captivating features is its luxurious rooftop. With breathtaking panoramic views of the city, the rooftop boasts an impressive swimming pool, comfortable seating areas, and ambient music. The centerpiece is the Nucha Rooftop Bar, a new Jerusalem hotspot serving unique cocktails and a variety of colorful, delicious tapas. Created in partnership with the celebrated “Peacock” team and featuring food from the hotel’s own Zahara restaurant, the bar is open to both hotel guests and the public. The spacious terrace is also available for exclusive private events, making it a perfect spot for any special occasion.

A Culinary Journey at Zahara Restaurant

The hotel is home to Zahara, a new chef restaurant with an urban twist. As the sister restaurant to the highly-regarded Angelica, a Jerusalem culinary institution for over 16 years, Zahara brings a fresh, contemporary, and experiential approach to fine dining.

Chef Roee Achdut has created a sophisticated yet generous Mediterranean menu that incorporates classic French techniques and Asian influences. The seasonal, kosher kitchen offers a variety of fish, meat, and vegetable dishes made with fresh, local ingredients. Zahara champions a “sharing is caring” philosophy, moving away from the traditional three-course meal in favor of a vibrant, shared dining experience. The open kitchen creates a direct connection between the guests and the culinary team, while a curated selection of wines and cocktails from the “Peacock” team enhances the dining experience.
