Arkia and Vietnam Airlines sign new deal
The addition of Arkia as an additional designated carrier on the route to Bangkok with El Al was made possible following an aviation agreement signed between Israel and Thailand.

Arkia signed a new interline agreement with Vietnam Airlines, which will allow the purchase of tickets in Arkia for a direct flight to Bangkok, and from there a two-hour flight to Hanoi / Saigon with Vietnam Airlines. The addition of Arkia as an additional designated carrier on the route to Bangkok with El Al was made possible following an aviation agreement signed between Israel and Thailand and opened the door for additional airlines to operate regular flights between the two countries. According to the agreement, each country can operate up to 28 regular weekly flights, with no limit on capacity or aircraft types.
