During the month of June 2024, a total of 1,477,243 passengers (compared to 2,267,178 passengers in 2023 – a decrease of 34.8%) passed through Ben Gurion airport, in 10,607 aircraft movements (compared to 15,629 in 2023 – a decrease of 32.13%) on international and domestic flights.

International passenger traffic this month stood at 1,422,095 passengers compared to 2,191,614 last year, and represents a decrease of 35.11% compared to June 2023. International aircraft traffic this month stood at 10,063 movements compared to 14,961 and represents a decrease of 32.73% compared to June 2023.

In the international passenger traffic at Terminal 3: 1,278,837 passengers passed this month compared to 1901,558 passengers last year, a decrease of 32.74%. In international passenger traffic at Terminal 1, which is used for outbound passengers only: 143,258 passengers passed this month compared to 290,056 last year, a decrease of 50.61%.

On domestic flights, 55,148 passengers passed through Israel this month compared to 75,564 in June 2023, a decrease of 27.01%. Aircraft traffic stood at 544 compared to 668 in 2023, a decrease of 18.56%. Arkia leads with 38,951 passengers compared to 53,510 last year, a decrease of 27.20%. It is followed by Israir with 15,975 passengers compared to 21,825 last year, a decrease of 26.80%.

During June, the Israeli airlines flew 758,089 passengers, representing 53.3% of all passengers passing through the airport, an increase of 6.78% compared to last June.

The airlines with the highest volume of activity are: El Al with 559,385 passengers which constitute 39.33% of all passengers. Israir with 111,546 passengers representing 7.8% of all passengers, Wizz Air with 102,962 representing 7.24% of all passengers and Arkia with 86,566 representing 6.08% of all passengers in Israel.
