easyJet Considering Eilat Flights

UK low cost airline easyJet is in talks to inaugurate flights between European destinations and Eilat, starting with flights to Ovda and then to Ramon Airport, Timna, upon its opening in April. Company executives were reportedly in Israel to continue discussions initiated in London with Israel Ministry of Tourism Director General Amir Halevy, in which to introduce the flights. The airline currently offers 20 flights a week from nine European cities to Ben Gurion Airport: Amsterdam, Basel, Berlin, Geneva, London Gatwick, London Luton, Manchester, Milan and Paris
