On the occasion of the launch of El Al’s new routes to San Francisco and Las Vegas, the “Haifa” Dreamliner was designed with spectacular illustrations of the new destinations. The illustrations, designed by illustrator Shay Vadl and Art Director Amir Asayag, are wrapped around half of the fuselage, with one side associated with the city of San Francisco, and the other side with Las Vegas. The special design was installed by employees of the El Al maintenance and engineering division together with an expert team from ADHETEC who came especially from France as part of an unprecedented project in the Israeli aviation world. The special-purpose Dreamliner, named after the city of Haifa, a twin city of San Francisco, is expected to make the company’s maiden flight to San Francisco on May 13 and a month later, its first flight to Las Vegas.
