United Airlines has resumed its nonstop service between Tel Aviv and Washington D.C. The nonstop service to United‘s Washington/Dulles hub will operate three-times weekly and joins United’s existing twice-daily nonstop service from Tel Aviv to New York/Newark, three-times weekly nonstop service from Tel Aviv to Chicago O’Hare and three-times weekly nonstop service from Tel Aviv to San Francisco.
Starting May 6 2022, flights from Tel Aviv to United’s west coast hub at San Francisco are set to increase to once daily in time for the summer season, bringing the total number of weekly flights offered by United from Israel to 27. United offers more nonstop services from Israel to the U.S. than any other U.S. airline.
“We are delighted to once again offer a nonstop service from Tel Aviv to Washington D.C. and from May, an expanded service to San Francisco with once daily flights”, said Yael Barzilay, Country Sales Manager Israel. “With 27 weekly flights from Tel Aviv this summer, our customers in Israel can take advantage of an even wider choice of direct connections to the U.S., as well as an unrivalled route network from United‘s hubs, offering convenient nonstop connections to over 180 destinations across the Americas”.
The resumed service from Tel Aviv to Washington/Dulles is operated with Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, configured with a total of 243 seats – 28 all-aisle-access flat-bed seats in United Polaris SM business class, 21 in United Premium Plus and 194 seats in economy, including 36 Economy Plus seats with additional leg-room.
The service from Tel Aviv to San Francisco is operated with Boeing 777- 200ER aircraft, configured with a total of 276 seats – 50 flat-bed seats in United Polaris business class, 24 seats in United Premium Plus, and 202 seats in economy, including 46 Economy Plus seats with additional leg-room.
