A new hotel is expected to be built in Ein Hod facing a view of the sea. The company DN Sans from Moshav Ahiezer won the tender to build a hotel with 50 accommodation units on the site.

The company won a tender conducted by the Israel Lands Authority in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, to which 17 bids were submitted and paid for the land an amount of 12,620,000 ILS. The minimum price in the tender was 1,065,380 ILS. The land area is 25,628 square meters.

The Ministry of Tourism notes that the interest in the tender was very high, when 23 applications were submitted to the Ministry for a recommendation, which is a condition for participation in the tender.

From a topographical point of view, the complex overlooks the direction of the sea and the settlements of the Carmel coast and therefore its tourist potential is very high.

Minister of Tourism, Haim Katz: “Demand in the hotel sector is high. This is an expression of confidence by the entrepreneurs. We will work to reduce bureaucracy and increase the supply of lodging rooms for the sake of diversity, competition and the prosperity of the tourism industry, which will strengthen the economy”.
