The ceremony for the laying of the cornerstone and the start of construction work for the resort “Midbar”, in Arad, took place in the presence of the Minister of Tourism, Mr. Yoel Razvozov, the mayor, Mr. Nissan Ben Hamo, Oren Pascal and Ben Braverman from the owners of 7MINDS, Itzik Ben Shoham, owners of the White City Buildings Company as well as the architect of the project, Gidi Bar Orian from Bar Orian Architects.

The Minister of Tourism, Mr. Yoel Razvozov, stated at the event that “we see today that there is great potential for tourism in Arad. Under the leadership of the excellent mayor, Nissan Ben Hammo, and thanks to all those involved in the project, Arad will once again be a leading tourist city. Israel and thus create additional sources of income for the residents of Arad and the surrounding area”.

n the property, which has an area of ​​about 20 dunams and is located in the Judean desert east of the city of Arad and overlooks the view of the deserts and the Dead Sea, a luxurious 5-star deluxe resort will be built with a total investment estimated at about 200 million ILS. This is a lot on which the mythical Masada hotel was once built.

The resort will be managed by 7MINDS and is expected to open in 2025 and, in fact, will be the first in the field of the company’s prestigious desert resorts.

The hotel will include 109 large and spacious suites, from 40 square meters to 130 square meters, with balconies and private pools, 3 shared pools, a rich spa, a space for events and other uses, a recreation area for leisure time, a gym, open and closed public areas and two Chef restaurants
