Fattal Hotels Ltd. has been listed in Dun’s 100 as the leading and strongest hotel brand in Israel.

Fattal is an Israeli hotel management company owned and managed by the hotelier and businessman, David Fattal. The company manages and owns 38 hotels in Israel and 80 hotels across Europe under independent brands such as U Hotels, Leonardo, Herods, Rothschild 22 and NYX Tel Aviv.

David Fattal is one of the most noticeable and influential figures in Israeli tourism with over 35 years’ experience. He was responsible for introducing the Holiday Inn brand to Israel (for Africa-Israel), and in 1999 founded the Fattal Hotel Management company.

The chain currently owns 28 hotels throughout Israel. These include flagship hotels such as Herod’s in Eilat, Herod’s in Tel Aviv, Leonardo Plaza and Leonardo City Tower in Ramat Gan, Rothschild 22 and NYX Tel Aviv. In recent years, the company has opened additional hotels including Herods Herzliya, Leonardo Plaza Netanya, Leonardo Plaza Ashdod, Rothschild 22, NYX Tel Aviv and the Leonardo Boutique Jerusalem.

Today the hotel chain encompasses all of Israel’s main leisure sites from north to south, and offers a wide range of concepts suited for every pocket and purpose: business tourism and conferences; city tourism; leisure; family vacations; boutique tourism; romantic vacation deals and more. The chain operates 8,500 rooms in Israel.

In 2006, Fattal expanded its activities to Europe. The company manages 67 hotels in Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Austria, Switzerland, the U.K., Spain, Italy, the Czech Republic, Scotland, Poland and the Netherlands, of which 50 are owned by the Fattal chain or the fund in which it is a partner. All the European hotels operate under the independent Leonardo brand and the NYX lifestyle brand.

Fattal’s new lifestyle brand, which is comprised of eclectic hotels, music, design, innovative art, a unique bar and more. Today Israel has one hotel, and later this year a second one will open in Herzliya. In Europe, hotels are currently located in Milan and Prague, and 6 additional hotels will open by 2018.
