Prima Millennium, the 14th property to join the Prima Hotels portfolio, has opened in Ra’anana, south of Israel’s Sharon Plain district. The hotel has 140 rooms across five categories of Classic, Executive, Deluxe, Premium and Premium Room with Balcony. All rooms feature a queen size bed, 42 inch interactive satellite TV, desk with USB connections, bathrobes, tea and coffee maker, mini fridge and shower. Deluxe and Premium rooms also contain a Nespresso coffee machine and afford access to the Hub Executive Lounge, located on the 12th floor, which provides personal business services and facilities, a buffet of savory and sweet snacks and international newspapers and magazines.
By the beginning of July, the hotel’s convention center will also be in operation. “It will be the largest events area in the Sharon area,” says Marketing & Sales Director Haim Douk. “The hall is divisible into various sections, to cater to all types of business conference and events, in addition to family parties such as weddings and Bar and Bar Mitzvahs, with space to seat up to 500.” The hotel also has four equipped conference hall boardrooms for corporate events.
The hotel’s lobby has two halls, measuring 70m² and 82m², which can also be used for a range of events. “There’s always demand for spaces to hold more intimate events, such as the Shabbat Hatan ceremony, held before Jewish weddings,” says Douk. “We have the capability to cater for this, with an on-site synagogue and two others in close proximity.” The hotel’s Esc Restaurant and Coffee Bar serves an Israeli buffet breakfast, with a meat meal served on Friday and Saturday evenings and on Saturday for lunch, and light meals, hot and cold drinks and alcoholic beverages are served on the second floor. “Our lobby lounge is a space for guests to meet, eat and relax in a stylish atmosphere.” Other guest amenities include parking and complimentary access to an adjacent sporting facility which has a gym, exercise classes, swimming pool and spa.
“The majority of our guests, at around 80-85%, are here for business,” outlines Douk. “We are the first hotel in the area to provide easy access to many companies in the region, saving travel time and money, and we also predict an incoming market of FITs who may be visiting relatives and friends in the area.” The hotel will be working with tour operators to source alternative markets during holiday periods.
