The Brown Hotels collection is renewed with three new hotels in Tel Aviv: Dave Downtown in the Yad Harutz business complex, Wom Beach – a Pod hotel in the Textile House building opposite the promenade and also the Theodore Brown on the corner of Herzl and Rothschild Boulevards. With their opening, the number of hotels in Israel increases to 25.
Dave Downtown is a new and spectacular son of the young and accessible brand of the collection: Dave – Son of Brown, under which Dave Gordon and Dave Lewinsky in Tel Aviv, Dave Red in Athens and another hotel that opened last summer in the picturesque beach town of Loutraki in Greece – Dave by the beach Loutraki.
The hotel is located at 7 Yad Harutz St., in the heart of the business district, a 10-minute walk from the hot entertainment and culinary areas of the city on Rothschild Boulevard and the surrounding area. Dave Downtown offers 49 designed rooms suitable for single, double and couple with a child in edgy design and bold color combinations of blood red and bottle green with black and white checkered shower rooms and toilets. The hotel was designed by designer Robbie Israeli, who placed Brown’s famous X-Book library so that it can be seen from the outside through the hotel’s large storefront windows. The library spans an entire wall in the lobby, where vintage items collected at flea markets around the world are scattered. A designed lounge offers seating areas, a movie and sports projection area on a giant screen, a ping pong table, a bar and cardio facilities for fitness lovers. Alongside these, a meeting room will soon be operating that will serve the hotel’s guests as well as the business community outside of it.
Wom Beach is a new food hotel by Brown, in collaboration with the entrepreneur brothers and architects Leahy and Dean Gerstner. Wom Beach offers a modern vacation experience with 124 private designed pods for individuals and couples, shower rooms and toilets, collaborative kitchens and workspaces spanning two floors in the textile house, in front of the Charles Clore Garden, Herbert Samuel Promenade and the Mediterranean Sea. All pods are carefully designed and equipped with spacious beds with Braun’s mattresses, which have already become a household name. The double beds are especially large and cover a size of 2×2 m. The linens also come to Brown’s high standard of dense and pale Egyptian cotton. Each pod has a table and chair, sink, air conditioner, storage space for a suitcase and a private safe adapted to the size of a laptop, towels, hair dryer, bathrobe and flip flops. All three pods share a bathroom and toilet for private use, which is cleaned between users. On each floor there are shared kitchenettes that include a refrigerator, microwave, work surfaces and a high-quality Nespresso machine.
