An increase of 25% in winter tourism to Eilat
Government subsidies for international winter flights to Eilat has proven itself.

The Israel Hotel Association has published a number of statistics demonstrating the continued rise of tourism to Israel. A notable figure is the 25% increase in winter tourist stays (October-April) in Eilat since the Ministry of Tourism began subsidizing international flights to Eilat in the winter of 2015. The International Association of Hotels in Eilat reported that the subsidy for international winter flights to Eilat has proven itself with the significant increase in the number of tourists who arrived in Eilat, and currently accounts for about 18% of tourists visiting the southern city.
