According to Xinhua news site, China was Israel’s fastest growing source of tourists in 2017 with over 113,000 Chinese traveling to Israel last year. The surge in visits appears to be a result of a combination of factors, including targeted promotion campaigns, streamlined visa applications and more direct flights.
