The tide of tourism continues with an 11% increase in tourist arrivals in September-October this year compared to the same period last year. Over 852,000 tourists were registered, compared with 767,000 tourist arrivals for the corresponding two months last year – an increase of 11%.
Tourism Minister Yariv Levin said, “October continues to increase the tide of tourist arrivals with impressive increases and breaking new highs. In spite of all the challenges we face, we are able to implement Israel’s marketing policy globally in accordance with an innovative and audience-focused strategy – and see results. We are seeing increases in new markets where we are investing, alongside preserving markets where Israel is already an attractive target. The contribution of tourism is tremendous in both the economic and diplomatic aspects and I am proud of it.”
