A new CEO for Arkia – Oz Berlovitz, CEO of Arkia International and Deputy CEO, will replace Gadi Teper who is retiring from the company after 3 years as CEO. Teper informed the company’s board this week (Sunday) of his retirement, after which the board approved Berlovitz’s appointment to the position.

Berlovitz, who holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and international relations and a master’s degree in business administration from Bar Ilan University, previously held a variety of positions in the fields of marketing and operations. Upon taking office, the new CEO thanked his predecessor and indicated goals going forward:

“I would like to thank Gadi Teper for managing the company during the last three years, which were among the most difficult in the aviation industry. I am taking over the management of the company, in a complex period, when reality forces us to face many challenges, mainly a return to the routine of aviation in the shadow of a routine of war”.

“I want to thank the controlling owners, partners and the board of directors for the trust they have placed in me”, Berlovitz continued in his announcement. “Together, the management and the employees, we will march Arkia forward to the summit of aviation and tourism in Israel”.
