Kfar Blum Kayaks, an attraction site that has been operating for 30 years on Kibbutz Kfar Blum in the Upper Galilee, has launched a new sailing route. The new track has been developed for the benefit of children aged two to five, to experience a cruise in a family rafting boat that commences at the kayak site and ends at the Kfar Blum Dam. Cruises last around 30 minutes and are offered on weekends (Friday and Saturdays) during the summer months of July and August, and also on the Jewish holidays of Rosh Hashana and Sukkoth.
Year round kayaking experiences are available too, including a 4km route across a section of the Jordan River. Other on site attractions include a multi-sensory 3D experiential film of rafting and wet rafting, a rope park, climbing wall, archery and a camping site.
