At the Minister of Tourism’s exchange ceremony held on Tuesday, the incoming Minister of Tourism, Yoel Razvozov, said that he intends to work hard to bring the tourism back into action.
“I see it as my first task in the role of Minister of Tourism – to build a correct and effective outline of easing the conditions for tourists to enter Israel, of course without endangering Israeli citizens and in cooperation with the Ministry of Health”.
The outgoing Minister of Tourism and the newly appointed Minister of Science and Technology, Orit Farkash-Hacohen, wished Minister Razvozov success and said:
‘I entered the Ministry of Tourism in the middle of the second COVID-19 wave. This is not a period that characterizes tourism ministers and I felt a very high mission and pushed a lot of things for the industry. Mostly I want to tell the employees of the ministry that we worked in difficult conditions because of the COVID-19 crisis that no matter where I go, this ministry has a membership in the Israeli government. You entered my heart, I hope you will only succeed”.
