“I welcome the signing of the agreement and the tightening of ties with Kenya”

As part of the political visit of Kenyan President William Ruto and his entourage to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office, the first tourism agreement between the countries was signed.

Tourism Minister Haim Katz and Kenya’s Foreign Minister, Alfred Nganga Mutua, signed a tourism agreement between Israel and Kenya.

As part of it, the parties undertook to promote cooperation in the World Tourism Organization, as well as between tourism experts, tour operators, travel agents and representatives from the private sector. The countries will maintain professional cooperation in the field of entrepreneurship and digitization, alongside professional training in the tourism and hotel industry.
