“We will invest in areas that perhaps did not receive enough attention thus far, including our local Tuscany in Judea and Samaria”
Incoming Tourism Minister, Haim Katz, vows to increase investments in parts of the country that he says have been underserved, including Judea and Samaria, which he compares to the pastoral Italian countryside.
“We will invest in areas that perhaps did not receive enough attention thus far, including our local Tuscany in Judea and Samaria”, he says during a handover ceremony with his predecessor Yoel Razvozov.
“The ministry has a central role in strengthening the economy and promoting the beautiful face of Israel. Our goal is to reach new heights. Every budget must be realized, there is no such thing as returning money to the treasury. We must continue to improve our service to tourists, for foreign tourists and Israeli travelers. We will work to improve the infrastructure and increase the supply of accommodation options Every Israeli family should enjoy the beauty of the land and be able to find a place to stay, according to their personal financial ability”.
The outgoing Minister of Tourism, Yoel Razvozov, wished Minister Katz success and said: “I am leaving behind a functioning ministry, which is capable of doing a lot for the State of Israel, the Israeli economy, and the citizens of Israel. I am sure that the incoming Minister, Haim Katz, will continue to take care of tourism in Israel and the ministry’s employees in particular, from His experience and proven abilities”.
