The WTA has accepted the Association of Travel Agencies and Tourism Consultants in Israel. The WTA is a global non-profit association with no political affiliations whose members are tourist organizations all over the world, tourism businesses, academics, researchers and educational institutions in the field of tourism. As of this date, the WTA, with its headquarters in China, has 109 members from all over the world. Joining the WTA opens Israel’s doors to cooperation in the East and in China in particular. Joining the WTA, together with Israel’s friends at ECTA (Association of European Travel Agencies), points to the importance that international organizations attribute to Israel’s contribution to the culture of tourism, trips and global vacations.
