The agreement signed yesterday (Tuesday) in Dubai between the Minister of Tourism – Yoel Razvozov and the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Small and Medium-Sized Business – Dr. Ahmad Belhul al-Palasi, is another step in strengthening the political and business relations between Israel and the Emirates.
According to the agreement, the two countries will encourage mutual tourism, promote joint packages to preferred and remote tourism markets, train tourism workers and hotels, and help each other with knowledge related to tourism.
For Israel, this is a tremendous opportunity to bring billions of shekels a year into the Israeli economy. This is through operations that will direct some of the tourists from the airports in the Emirates, where about 100 million people move to Israel each year. Thanks to the arrival of these tourists, jobs will be added, businesses will be opened and the livelihoods of the tourism industry workers will improve.
