The Jerusalem Development Authority is launching a tourist card which will provide benefits to those visiting a selection of sites in Jerusalem, in addition to receiving free public transport in the city. Smile Tourism Services, owned by the Israel Incoming Tour Operators Association, will operate the new project alongside French company Otipass, which specializes in tourist cards in cities across Europe. Smile will handle the signing and agreement of which tourist sites will be included on the card, in addition to collecting and managing payments.
