The Israel Central Bureau of Statistics has recorded 271,000 tourist entries during July 2017, a 17 percent increase compared to July last year. Air entries accounted for 246,000 of this figure.

The Israel Central Bureau of Statistics has recorded 271,000 tourist entries during July 2017, a 17 percent increase compared to July last year. Air entries accounted for 246,000 of this figure.
January – July 2017
Approximately two million tourists entered Israel between January and July 2017, reflecting an increase of 24 percent compared to the same period last year and a 22 percent rise on 2015.
According to the latest statistics from the United Nations World Tourism Organization’s tourism barometer, Israel placed number 10 globally on a list of countries with the highest recorded increases in incoming tourism.
