In a meeting held by Minister of Tourism Yoel Razvozov (Yesh Atid party) with the Tourism Industry Coordinating Office – the Confederation of the leading tourism bodies in the industry, those present spoke about the urgent issues for tourism in Israel.
At the beginning of the meeting, Michael Federmann, Chairman of the Tourism Industry Coordinating Office in Israel, said: “We are at your disposal, and we will be happy to assist in anything you need to promote tourism in Israel”.
Minister of Tourism, Yoel Razvozov: “After the COVID-19 and after Operation the Guardian of the Walls, we have a common challenge. From here, our job, with joint forces, is to bring the tourism industry back into action, without endangering the health of Israeli citizens.
As a former COVID-19 committee member, I know we need to properly manage the risks and find the right outline for tourists to enter the country. I know that you are the last branches of the economy to emerge from the crisis, and I will be your representative in the government so that we emerge from the crisis for momentum and prosperity”.
