Writing in the New York Times, Debra Kamin reviewed the Vera Hotel, which she called a “mix of modernism and history.” Over the past 100 years, the building that houses the Vera Hotel has been a maternity hospital, a bank and an insurance office. It now is a showcase for local artisans.
