Southern Eilat Beach Opens to Public
A 300-meter stretch of shoreline located south of Eilat’s pier has transferred ownership from the Eilat Ashkelon Pipeline Company (EAPC) to the Municipality of Eilat.

A 300-meter stretch of shoreline located south of Eilat’s pier has transferred ownership from the Eilat Ashkelon Pipeline Company (EAPC) to the Municipality of Eilat. Following a 50 year closure, the site is now open to the public and features a marine reserve, coral reef and shaded areas. A second stage of the transfer, to be carried out at a later date, will open 200 meters of ecological beach to be used by divers and for marine educational activities.
