A new jewel has been added to Jerusalem’s nightlife crown with the official opening of “The Terrace”, the upgraded luxury summer bar at the prestigious Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem. Located on the hotel’s fourth floor, this elegant rooftop oasis offers breathtaking urban views and a sophisticated atmosphere for tourists and locals alike.

Designed to be a Mediterranean garden under the Jerusalem stars, The Terrace provides a multi-sensory experience. Guests are welcomed into a meticulously crafted space featuring local olive trees, vibrant flowers, a stylish wooden deck, and enchanting lighting. The ambiance is one of chic relaxation, offering a perfect escape from the city’s summer heat.

The culinary experience is curated by the hotel’s celebrated chef, Itzik Mizrachi Barak. The new menu focuses on fresh, high-quality local ingredients, offering a modern take on Mediterranean cuisine. Prices for dishes range from a reasonable45  ILS to 95 ILS.

Highlights from the menu include: Sea Bream Fillet a la Plancha for a taste of the sea; A succulent 120g Minute Steak Entrecôte and Slow-Cooked Lamb Asado; Flavorful skewers like Tandoori Pargit (chicken) and Adana Kebab with roasted vegetables; Creative vegetarian and vegan options, such as a Pumpkin Steak in a savory barbecue sauce and Vegan Bao Buns filled with tofu; To finish the meal, guests can indulge in decadent desserts like the Exotic Pineapple Cake, Pistachio Pie, or a rich Chocolate Fudge.

No rooftop experience is complete without a unique cocktail menu. The hotel’s expert mixology team has crafted a selection of original, seasonal drinks. The star of the show is the “Jerusalem of Gold,” the Waldorf Astoria’s signature cocktail, created to take guests on a sensory journey through the timeless city.
