The Israeli travel market received a significant boost this week as Romanian airline AnimaWings inaugurated its new scheduled route between Tel Aviv and Bucharest. The inaugural flight was celebrated with a festive ribbon-cutting ceremony at Ben Gurion Airport on Sunday evening, October 5, marking a key moment amidst a challenging period for the local aviation industry.
Represented in Israel by the Tal Aviation Group, AnimaWings’ decision to launch this route highlights its commitment to the Israeli market, which the airline views as a true partner. The new service will operate three times a week, connecting Tel Aviv to the Romanian capital.
The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries and key aviation figures, including: H.E. Radu Ioanid – Ambassador of Romania to Israel; Mihaela Răducanu – Deputy Ground Operations Manager for AnimaWings; Bogdan Coconoiu – International Sales Manager for AnimaWings; Gideon Thaler – President of Tal Aviation Group; Guy Thaler – CEO of Tal Aviation Israel.
