“After a tremendous amount of hard work and significant investment, we are delighted to reopen the special and beloved Astral Palma hotel for our guests. This hotel has a loyal customer base who return year after year. The ‘low-cost’ hotel being built next door is well underway, and the chain is in a phase of renewal across other hotels ahead of the summer to provide Israeli vacationers with the best and most affordable value for their money, all while maintaining the highest standards”.
Astral Hotels, one of Israel’s fastest-growing hotel chains, officially reopened its popular Astral Palma suite hotel this morning after an extensive six-month renovation and soft launch period. The significant upgrade, costing approximately 20 million ILS, aims to elevate the hotel to the chain’s high hospitality standards and meet increasing demand.
The renovation focused on a complete rebuild and refresh of the hotel’s lobby and other sections. The kitchen area, which serves thousands of diners daily, underwent a functional upgrade with additional spaces and modern equipment. Guest rooms across various wings were also revitalized to align with the Astral standard of hospitality.
Astral Palma, a recipient of the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice 2020 award, boasts a prime location in the heart of Eilat’s lagoon. This allows guests to enjoy tranquility while remaining just minutes away from the city’s main attractions, including the Ice Mall and the beach.
The hotel’s unique appeal lies in its diverse range of rooms and suites, designed to accommodate various family configurations, from couples to families with up to four children. The rooms are modernly designed and well-equipped, with some suites featuring spacious balconies, jacuzzis, and sunbeds. Guests can also enjoy a large swimming pool, a dedicated toddlers’ pool, and a kids’ club offering a variety of activities, craft stations, and computer games.
Ben Zerach, Co-CEO and owner of Astral Hotels, stated, “After a tremendous amount of hard work and significant investment, we are delighted to reopen the special and beloved Astral Palma hotel for our guests.
