As part of these changes, Matan Lerner, previously General Manager of Dan Caesarea Resort and Dan Accadia Resort, has been appointed General Manager of the King David Hotel Jerusalem. Lerner will assume his new role on July 1, 2025, succeeding Tamir Kobrin, who recently announced his desire to conclude his tenure.
Ilan Ben Hakoon, who served as General Manager of Dan Tel Aviv Hotel and Link Hotel & Hub, has been appointed General Manager of Dan Accadia Resort in Herzliya. He will replace Matan Lerner, who is moving to the King David Hotel Jerusalem.
Ben Yanover, previously General Manager of Dan Hotels in the Haifa and Nazareth region and General Manager of Dan Carmel, has been appointed General Manager of Dan Tel Aviv Hotel and Link Hotel & Hub. He will take over from Ilan Ben Hakoon.
Eliran Dar, who has been the Manager of Dan Caesarea Resort, has been promoted to General Manager of Dan Caesarea Resort. He will succeed Matan Lerner in this role.
Yaniv Shavit is returning to Dan Hotels and has been appointed General Manager of Dan Hotels in the Haifa and Nazareth region and General Manager of Dan Carmel. He will succeed Ben Yanover. Shavit brings extensive experience, with approximately 20 years in the Israeli hotel industry. Early in his career, he served as Deputy Food & Beverage Manager at Dan Tel Aviv Hotel and as Food & Beverage Director at Dan Caesarea.
Most recently, Shavit managed the Tel Aviv area for Brown Hotels and served as General Manager of The Lighthouse Hotel Tel Aviv. Prior to that, Shavit was General Manager of City Tower Hotel in Ramat Gan and Vice President of Operations for Herods Herzliya Hotel. Before that, he was Food & Beverage Director at Royal Beach Tel Aviv Hotel.
