After last year it flew the Israeli delegation to Liverpool, led by the star Noa Kirel, this year El Al Airlines will also fly the Israeli representative to Eurovision 2024, Eden Golan, along with the other members of the Israeli delegation.

The flight will take off next week from Israel to Sweden and will mark the beginning of rehearsals for one of the most talked about and intriguing Eurovisions of recent years. Following the events of the October 7th and the rising anti-Semitism these days in Europe, and in Malmö in particular, the events will take place this year under heavy security, for fear of violent incidents and attempts to harm the Jewish community and the members of the Israeli delegation.

Nevertheless, the Israeli delegation broadcasts business as usual and prepares for Eurovision in March. Continuing the cooperation that began last year, this year El Al will operate a special direct flight to Malmö – a destination to which El Al does not operate regular flights. As part of the connection between El Al and the Israel Broadcasting Corporation, the airline informed that over the next few months, a variety of new Kan content will be gradually uploaded to the inspection systems of El Al aircraft.
