“We are very proud of the work we did not stop flying to Israel even during the most difficult days of the war. Increasing the frequency of the route to Shenzhen is a very significant expression of confidence on the part of the company’s headquarters in the Israeli market. Demands for China and the East are constantly increasing and now strengthen the bridge we create between China and Israel We will continue to provide the Israeli traveler with the best and most stable conditions to fly to China and the East even in days of uncertainty in Israel”.

Hainan Airlines, which before the war operated six weekly flights on three direct routes between Israel and China, is the only long-haul company that continued continuous operations in Tel-Aviv despite the war. Now the company is increasing the frequency of its flights on the Shenzhen-Tel Aviv route from two weekly flights to three weekly flights. Flights on Tuesdays and Fridays will be added starting at May 12, 2024 a flight on Sundays.

Due to the security situation in Israel, the flights go through the northern route. For the most part, the line to Shenzhen is operated by modern Dreamliner planes.

Hainan Airlines is the fourth largest airline in China and its move to Israel in 2016 led to far-reaching changes in the aviation market to the East in general and to China in particular. During the days of the COVID-19, the company suspended its activities in Israel for about three years and today, as mentioned, it is the most stable foreign company in Israel during the war.

CEO of Hainan Airlines Israel, Andy Wei: “We are very proud of the work we did not stop flying to Israel even during the most difficult days of the war.
