Kibbutz Kalya has signed a 20-year lease agreement with Kibbutz Almog, under which it will lease Almog’s resort village, which includes 81 guest rooms.

As part of the agreement, Kalya will independently invest in a comprehensive renovation of the rooms and the complex, with reservations expected to open from April 1, with launch prices starting at 500 ILS per night.

The renovation will focus on upgrading the guest rooms, developing a green environment and improving the guest experience, including kosher cuisine. In addition, guests of the resort will enjoy a semi-Olympic pool and access to Kalya Beach.

Kibbutz Kalya’s tourism branch, managed by Kalya Tourism, owns and operates several well-known tourist complexes in the area, including the kibbutz’s resort, “Glamping 420”, “Eretz HaTamar” Khan, Gallery -430, Qumran Caves, Kalya Beach and the lowest bar in the world. Kalya continues its expansion in the tourism sector, with additional investments in existing properties and the development of new attractions.

The Almog Resort is located near the Og River and offers its guests varied trips in the Judean Desert, alongside historical and religious sites. The proximity to Jerusalem (about a 30-minute drive) and the center of the country (about an hour and a quarter) makes it an accessible and convenient destination for travelers and vacationers.
