The markets are getting fuller and the airport more crowded. Some major airlines have already resumed flights to and from Ben Gurion and other airlines carriers will soon follow suit. Many tour operator companies and tour guides in Israel are getting more business and are starting to work again. Life has been very hard for tour guides and people in the tourism industry in Israel.

Israel has even had a few celebrities visit such as Jerry Seinfeld, Debra Messing, Michael Rapaport, Scooter Braun, Montana Tucker, Gregg Sulkin and James Maslow. Jerry Seinfeld booked his tour with Jonijay Tours, a travel company mainly for celebrities. All these celebrities traveled to Israel in the recent months and visited affected communities, met with hostage families, and toured massacre sites to show support and bear witness.

The most recent high-profile celebrity visit is from Caitlyn Jenner, who was forced to leave Israel due to rising violence. She was forced to hide in a bomb shelter when ballistic missiles were being shot at Tel-Aviv by Iran. Caitlyn Jenner traveled to Tel-Aviv to serve as the guest of honor at the city’s annual pride parade which was canceled due to escalating Israel-Iran tensions. Caitlyn fled the country, sheltering in place as airstrikes intensified and later crossed into Jordan for her return to the U.S.

Scott Jennings, a CNN commentator, also became stranded in Israel during the 12-day campaign against Iran. He shared live updates from a secure location as the region came under attack.
